When The Lights Go Out

Well, fellas is been quite the day. I woke up and Tricia told me that classes were cancelled. Me in disbelief ask " What? But why Tricia?" she replied with a nod towards the window to my right. I slowly raised my head away from my pillow only to see a winter "deadly" wonderland. The roads and trees caked in ice and frozen snow(which i think is still considered ice but o well). Then Brandon calls to see if we would go run errands with him in his 4 wheel drive. We quickly reply with a yes. Not because we needed anything really, but mostly for the adventure, and also we knew that we would probly be stuck inside the rest of the day. we seized the oppertunity. We went to the salvation army again and I purchased a set of wooden salad bowls,$6.00. Then snatched up some grub at Bambinos. Finally after retiring to our abode, Tricia and I decided to watch the Matrix, I hate Keanu Reeves, and do a little art. At approximatly 5:30pm the lights fickered and the power went out but then came right back on, followed by another quick off and then back on surge. We waited...and shut down. All electricty to the building was gone! we were left alone in the dark with nothing but the sounds of screams all around us! We decided now would be a great time to eat. But NO garst was Closed as well due to the lack of power! Drats. what now. i took a small nap... very small since it was only 6:00pm and i wasnt tired. Finally I decided to beat the sysytem and leave. Dan came and picked me up and took me to Branden's so i could have some light to do my homework in. And now we are back! The picture above was taken in the elevator that was stranded on our floor left alone, empty and dead. Tricia and I were its only signs of life. The only ones who proved its existence.
Have a good day tomorrow!
